Charles W. Stevens, Partner

Chuck has extensive experience in the operating, financial, capital acquisition and crisis management areas. Over the past 27 years he has served in a number of capacities including President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Board of Directors member and independent business advisor to various stakeholders of middle market companies.

Chuck specializes in working closely with owners of middle market companies to increase shareholder value through the development and implementation of business strategies emphasizing profit improvement, internal core business growth, cost reductions and controls, acquisition growth strategies and greatly improved internal management reporting systems to accurately monitor the progress achieved. Chuck has also developed and implemented numerous exit strategies allowing company owners to capitalize on their increased shareholder value.

As a Partner at Deloitte & Touché, the largest accounting and consulting firm in the world, Chuck gained significant experience serving companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, distribution, service and retail industries with annual revenues from $10 million to $500 million.

Chuck also has significant experience working with companies to successfully initiate and complete mergers and acquisitions, private placements and public offerings.

Chuck also has hands-on experience operating companies as a corporate executive. As Chief Operating Officer of a $100 million manufacturing company with 13 locations in nine states and 1,500 employees, Chuck developed a long-term profit improvement and expansion plan that increased profitability and cash flow in excess of $5 million annually. The strategic plan included the development of a more effective and responsive sales quoting and reporting system and improved purchasing strategies and cost controls that significantly increase gross profit from operations. Chuck also identified and acquired two manufacturing companies to vertically integrate the Company and significantly improve profitability.

As the President of a $70 million distribution Company with four distribution locations, Chuck increased the Company's gross profit through improved pricing strategies and reduced overhead expenses resulting in improved profit and cash flow in excess of $1.5 million annually. Chuck then designed and implemented a plan to sell the Company as an exit strategy for the owner that included identifying potential purchasers, maximizing the sales price and initiating and completing the sale of the Company.

As a business advisor Chuck has orchestrated numerous profit improvement plans, operational turnarounds, growth strategies, debt financings, capital raises and exit strategies for various different companies. Chuck is a founding Partner of Plan Bravo Partners.

Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University Northridge. He has served on the Board of Directors of charitable organizations including California Special Olympics over a ten year period.
