John C. Simmons, Associate

John has over 30 years of business experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Controller, ranging from heading the financial and administrative departments of an $80 million importer of textile products to establishing and monitoring manufacturing divisions for a variety of companies. These companies include a manufacturer of air filters, a manufacturer of carbide drills and a manufacturer of simulated marble sinks. John also has extensive international business experience and in financing especially real estate financing when he was a loan officer for major bank.

John specializes in the management and profit improvement of businesses and has successfully assisted in the turnaround to profitability of an $80 million importer and manufacturer of home textiles, a $50 million environmental cleaning service company and a $10 million manufacturer of carbide drills. John’s hands on experience in operations, sales, finance and administration enable him to communicate effectively with all levels of management and all departmental functions of a company.

John’s contributions in assisting businesses includes the implementation of inventory control systems where he was able to significantly reduce inventory levels by as much as 30% while increasing on time deliveries from 60% to over 90%. John has implemented numerous accounting, manufacturing and inventory control systems such as MAPICS and MAS 90. John’s greatest strength is his ability to build effective teams and motivate them to achieve exceptional results.

John is currently the Chairman and Owner of Goodman International Manpower, Inc. a recruiter of skilled and professional labor from the Philippines.

John graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and holds Certificates of Competence in Computer Science, Production, Inventory Control and Real Estate. He has served as Commissioner of the AYSO Region 16 youth soccer league as well as coached youth soccer for over 10 years.
